Description

These Buffalo Chicken Sliders are a spicy, cheesy, and savory treat perfect for game day or any casual gathering. Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 package Kings Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350° F to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter and garlic powder; set aside to use later for brushing on the rolls.
  3. Mix Chicken Filling: In a separate bowl, mix shredded chicken, ranch dressing, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and buffalo sauce until evenly combined for a flavorful filling.
  4. Prepare Rolls: Slice the Kings Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom halves in a 9×13 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls, then sprinkle the remaining shredded cheeses on top for a cheesy finish.
  6. Add Top Buns & Butter: Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese. Brush the tops generously with the garlic butter mixture to enhance browning and flavor during baking.
  7. Cover & Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
  8. Brown Toppings: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops of the sliders are golden brown and slightly crispy.
  9. Serve: Remove from the oven, slice the sliders apart, and serve while hot for the best taste experience.

Notes

  • Kings Hawaiian rolls add a sweet contrast to the spicy buffalo chicken; substitute with similar soft rolls if unavailable.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience, or you can cook and shred chicken breasts fresh if preferred.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce based on your desired spice level.
  • Covering the baking dish prevents the sliders from drying out while baking.
  • Serve with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
  • Can be made ahead of time, assembled, and refrigerated before baking. Increase baking time slightly if baked cold.
