Instructions

  1. Season and cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts evenly with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked halfway through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook the rice: In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth and salt to a boil. Add the rice, lower the heat to a simmer, cover the pan, and cook for 15-18 minutes or until the rice is tender and all liquid is absorbed. Once done, fluff the rice with a fork and set it aside.
  3. Make the creamy sauce: Using the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat.
