Dry Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Almond flour (or almond meal)
  • 2 Scoops Whey Protein (chocolate flavor)
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
  • ½ Cup Mini chocolate chips (Dark)

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Almond butter (or cashew or sunflower butter)
  • 2 Tbsp Honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 Tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, add the almond flour, whey protein, cocoa powder, almond butter, honey, and water together.
  2. Mix the Dough: Using a silicone spatula, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Form Balls: Shape the dough into 1-inch sized balls with your hands.
  4. Coat with Chocolate Chips: Spread mini chocolate chips on a plate and gently roll each dough ball in the chips until fully coated.
  5. Chill: Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined pan and chill them in the refrigerator until ready to eat. These can be served immediately after chilling.

Notes

  • You can substitute almond butter with cashew or sunflower butter for a different flavor or to accommodate allergies.
  • Honey can be replaced with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • If the dough is too dry, add a small amount of water, one teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • For an extra crunch, consider adding chopped nuts or seeds.
