- Optional chocolate coating: Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between bursts until smooth. Stir in the additional tablespoon of chocolate hazelnut spread to create a glossy chocolate coating.
- Dip and set: Dip each protein ball into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Place the coated balls onto parchment paper-lined tray. Lightly sprinkle cocoa powder on top for decoration. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate briefly before serving.
